Babies come with their own set of requirements for parties, and these can be enough to make new parents stay in instead of braving any event. Provide a separate, comfortable space for nursing, preparing bottles, changing nappies and even lying babies down for naps- your guests with infants will thank you!

Kids are fun and bubbly by nature, which means that quiet, refined events may not be the best fit. No parent wants to have to continually shush their child at a very formal occasion. Keep your wedding fun and lively, and make it a space where a bit of noise or crying baby won’t bother others. Or, plan for a very elegant wedding ceremony and more colorful reception where kids can just be kids.

Party Favors for Kids
Don’t leave kids out when planning your wedding favors  Include a special bag of small toys, coloring books, games or sweets for kids, along the lines of birthday favors  An occupied child is a content child, so you can even plan to pass these out early in the afternoon.

Family Photos
Almost everyone loves photo memories, and this may be a rare occasion when your guests with kids are all dressed up and in one place. Enlist the help of a friend or have your photographer take family photos of those in attendance. You can distribute them later either in print or by email, as the perfect memory of a lovely event.
